Collection: Worm Composting
Use redworms to produce compost for your garden!
In-home composting with redworms is safe, odorless and easy and it gives a spectacular return for your efforts. In one week, 1–2 lbs of mature redworms will convert 3.5–7 lbs of food scraps into castings five times richer than the most fertile soils. You provide the worms, bedding, food scraps and moisture. Bins can be located inside the house or outdoors in a shady spot where freezing or overheating won’t be a problem. You will need at least 1 lb of worms to get started. Gardeners interested in quick turnover, or vegetarians who generate more compostable food scraps, may want to buy 2 or more lbs of worms.
