Tender annual Heirloom. Introduced from Armenia to Italy in the 1400s, this unusual and attractive 12"-18" cucumber is always sweet and crispy, even when fruit is large. Thin-skinned, green with ridges has a dense flesh, few seeds, and a pleasant, mild flavor, it is perfect for the fresh market. Also known as the Painted Serpent. Handle carefully to avoid bruising.
