Biennial, Heirloom Stunning dark purple carrot from skin to core that can be eaten fresh, roasted, steamed or used for dye. You can also leave them in the garden and use for cut flowers. The white umbels are tinged with lavender on the edges and flower stems. Carrots retain their purple color after cooking.
