Boysenberry vines prefer deep, well–drained, fertile soil. Boysenberries bear fruit on 2–year old wood. These brambles thrive in most soil types but they do not tolerate poor drainage. Boysenberries are versatile and hardy but are not as cold hardy as other brambles. Plant late winter to early spring. Space 4’–6’ in a row with 6’–8’ between rows. Sold by the individual plant.
