Tender Annual Heirloom. Introduced in 1881, this heirloom variety is a green-fleshed melon. It's also called Nutmeg due to its spicy flavor and outstanding aroma. Early vines produce fruits over 5" in diameter weighing 2-3 lb. A great variety for backyard and market gardens.
