Huckleberry Gold has beautiful purple skin, shallow eyes, and a wonderful yellow flesh. The tubers are very uniform in size. It sets from 5 to 7 tubers per hill. It has been used by west coast chefs in trials for several years. It is prefered by these chefs over any other variety. It has a very creamy buttery texture that makes great mashed potatoes or served as baby potatoes with your favorite steak.- 80+ days, mid-season
