Asparagus Jersey Knight (Bundle of 10)

• Facts of note: This male variety yields the highest quality spears of the Jersey hybrids. These predominantly male plants (a few females may sneak in) put all their energy into producing beautiful, 7" - 9" spears, rather than berries and seeds. Cold and heat-tolerant. It has excellent fusarium tolerance and high resistance to rust.

Note: Do not be alarmed if there is small amounts of bluish-white mold on your rootstock, this is absolutely normal. It occurs from the cold storage process used to keep the plants dormant. This mold can be wiped off and will not affect the health of the plant. However, if the plants are rotten and/or mushy, please give us a call.
